Bio
Kathy's childhood in Burlington, Ontario was as good as it gets -- a wonderful family, an absurd amount of pets, always busy, usually outdoors, and lots of sports and music. And although she appreciated and enjoyed it, she was usually lost in her own head, over-analyzing and over-thinking.
Drawn to books and creative writing, she went to University to get an English degree ... and the next thing she knew, she was a corporate restructuring lawyer in downtown Toronto, and then an e-commerce lawyer at RBC. After an amazing fifteen year legal career, a marriage, and two incredible children, she walked away from law to do the number one thing on her bucket list -- write a novel. Writing Six Minutes was the most fun, enriching, rewarding, patience-testing, humbling, selfish, terrifying thing that she has ever done ... and she cannot wait to do it again.
